About the IAPP

Peter is the director of quality at ICTRecht, a well-known Dutch legal advisory and tech firm based in Amsterdam. With over 10 years of experience in the privacy working field, Peter witnessed the upcoming European cookie legislation in 2012 and of course the early development and rise of the GDPR from 2012 till now. He’s a legal and privacy teacher and is acting as DPO for several companies. Peter is co-author of two Dutch books about the GDPR. One for legal professionals and one for non-legal professionals. He obtained his LLM in IT law and is a member of the IAPP since 2014 and currently in possession of the CIPP/E and CIPT certification.
