About the IAPP

Jutta Sonja Oberlin LL.M. CIPP/E CIPM FIP Cert.DPO Cert. Compliance Officer has worked for many years in privacy. From a privacy perspective, very valuable working experience was the work for a Swiss (Cantonal) Data Protection Authority and the 4 years working as a manager for the BIG4. Her focus has always been on data privacy from various perspectives, but always: very international, passionate, risk-based, creative and always focusing on the industry best practice. Her creative mind led her to Google. At Google she works in the privacy team focusing on International Data Transfer, international legislation and policy work. Since 2020, Jutta served in the beginning as an IAPP Young Privacy Professional and since 2021 as an IAPP Chapter Chair for Switzerland. She is also an active One Trust Chapter Chair for the Swiss Region Basel. 

She is also an active member of the IAPP and is appointed to represent Google at the EconomieSuisse and at the VUD (Society Corporate Privacy Switzerland).

Her 40+ publications and several keynote speeches at high ranked events underline her knowledge and show her practical but legally very mature thinking and approach.
