About the IAPP

Danny Ross is a data privacy and security attorney for Allscripts, a multinational medical software company, where he is involved in all aspects of the organization’s data privacy program. Danny is versed in HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA requirements for US operations, and also provides counsel regarding data privacy law in global markets such as the EU, Canada, Middle East, Australia, and Asia. International coverage also includes cross-border data transfer issues and advising on GDPR readiness. Prior to joining Allscripts, Danny served various legal and privacy related roles in the health sector. Danny holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Oregon and a J.D. from Gonzaga Law School.
