Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

As Canada Post's General Manager, Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer, Amanda Maltby is responsible for regulatory compliance in the areas of customer and employee privacy, access to information, information management, official languages, anti-money laundering and the corporation's code of ethics and business conduct. In her role she establishes the strategic direction for the compliance group in support of the corporation's overall business priorities and plays a leadership role in issues and risk management.



Prior to joining Canada Post, Maltby worked as an executive in both the public and private sectors including senior vice-president, Ipsos-Reid Public Affairs; senior vice president, Public Affairs and Communications, Canadian Marketing Association; and senior communication positions at the Federal Departments of Finance and Foreign Affairs and International Trade.



She is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Conference Board of Canada's Council of Chief Privacy Officers and the Digital Privacy Advisory Committee of the Canadian Marketing Association. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Carleton Golf and Yacht Club in Manotick, Ontario.



Maltby is a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa.
