Merve Gozukucuk-Ugurlu, CIPP/E, CIPM
Merve is a Director in FTI Technology’s Information Governance & Privacy and Security (IGP&S) practice based in London.
She is a certified privacy and data protection specialist with a demonstrated history of working in GDPR compliance projects. She has cross-sectoral experience in supporting clients through their data-related compliance journey including privacy risk assessments, implementation of privacy framework and organisational governance models, management of day-to-day privacy risks locally and globally.
Her programme management experience spans across various sectors including healthcare, education, banking, insurance, automotive, energy.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Merve was working as a Privacy Principal at Promontory Financial Group Merve studied applied maths and engineering at the Technical University Istanbul, and completed her IT Law M.A. at Istanbul Bilgi University, with her dissertation titled “A Controversial Protection Method of Data Processing: Data Anonymization.”
She holds the CIPP/E and CIPM certificate.
