About the IAPP

Alexis Goltra is a Managing Counsel in Oracle's Privacy & Security Legal group based in Burlington, MA. In that capacity, Alexis advises all lines of business and internal organizations (including Marketing, Hosting, Support, Development, Consulting, Global Security, and Information Technology) on the application of global data privacy and security laws to operations and processes. He also drafts and updates corporate privacy and security policies, negotiates privacy and security terms to be included in customer and vendor contracts, and helps investigate and resolve customer and consumer privacy and security concerns or incidents. Before joining Oracle in 2001, Alexis was an associate at Palmer & Dodge LLP in Boston, focusing on information technology related litigation. Alexis is a graduate of Harvard College, the University of Virginia School of Law and Cambridge University.
