About the IAPP

Dan is an Associate General Counsel at Gap Inc. where he leads the global privacy program.  He previously served as privacy counsel at The Walt Disney Company and Chief Privacy & Compliance Officer at AARP.  Prior to working in-house Dan held several positions in civil legal services programs where he litigated consumer protection matters involving unfair and deceptive acts and practices, predatory lending, credit reporting abuses and financial exploitation.  Dan began his legal career as a public defender representing clients facing misdemeanor and felony criminal charges.
