About the IAPP

Brenna Nava is a Director in the legal department of Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud provider, located in San Antonio, Texas.  At Rackspace, she has worked in a variety of areas including employment, litigation, global product development, and privacy. 

 

Before joining Rackspace, Brenna worked at Haynes and Boone, LLP in the San Antonio Office for about four years.  As an Associate at Haynes and Boone, she represented and counseled various companies on employment matters and related statutory or regulatory compliance and drafted employment-related policies and agreements.  She also assisted in the defense of several patent infringement claims involving various technology companies  

 

She graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law, summa cum laude.  While in law school, Brenna served as an intern with the Fourth Court of Appeals for Justice Karen Angelini and with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for Judge Edward C. Prado. 

 

Currently, Brenna is President of the Association of Corporate Counsel – South Central Texas Chapter where she chairs the Community Outreach committee.
