Cristina Burbach
Cristina Burbach is a Vice-President at the Nielsen Company, where she supervises internal workplace monitoring and e-discovery. Burbach has been a member of the IAPP since 2008 and a CIPP (now CIPP/US) since 2010. She is also a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner with expertise in Windows devices. Prior to her time at Nielsen, Burbach was an associate in the litigation department of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson. She has previously co-chaired both the Program Committee and the Virtual Worlds and the On-line Games Committee for the American Bar Association’s Science and Technology Section. In her free time, Burbach is a fitness blogger and an avid competitive runner, and has a strong interest in the privacy aspects of athletic competition and fitness tracking devices. She holds B.A. degrees in Economics and English from Georgetown University and earned her J.D. at Harvard Law School.
