Maurice Marnika
Maurice is the Privacy Compliance & Risk Officer at OPTrust, a leading Canadian pension plan administrator. His responsibilities include providing senior level expertise and advice to OPTrust senior management and staff on all privacy matters, as well as direction and leadership of the organization’s privacy program. In addition to his operational privacy work, Maurice also helps identify areas of privacy risk within the organization, introduce appropriate risk controls and also integrate privacy risk and compliance requirements into business processes. Other areas of focus include training, privacy policy and process development, incident response, and conducting privacy impact assessments.
Maurice also works closely with his privacy peers within the public pension plan sector and is a member of the Conference Board of Canada's Council of Chief Privacy Officers.
