Maureen Dry-Wasson, CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP
Maureen Dry-Wasson is an Assistant General Counsel at Allegis Group, Inc. and is Group General Counsel for Major, Lindsey & Africa. In addition, she is responsible for all benefits issues for all of Allegis Group's US companies as well as any global privacy issues. Mrs. Dry-Wasson has received privacy certifications through the IAPP for the US and for Canada, and is serving as one of the first co-chairs of the newly established IAPP Baltimore KnowledgeNet chapter. She has been an in-house attorney for 20 years and has been an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) serving as President of the Baltimore Chapter, member of the Nominating Committee for the ACC National Board as well as member of the editorial board of ACC Docket. Mrs. Dry-Wasson is serving for a second year as the Vice-Chairman of the In-house Benefits Counsel Network (IBCN), a non-profit group dedicated to serving the needs of in-house attorneys who practice benefits law.
Mrs. Dry-Wasson earned a J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Virginia. She is admitted to the Bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
