Corien Prins
Corien Prins is a professor of law and informatisation at Tilburg University and founder of the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT). At present Prins is the dean of Tilburg Law School. She is a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and among others board member of the Rathenau Institute (a strategic advisory body of the Dutch Parliament on science & technology assessment). She was a member of the Dutch Cyber Security Council (advisory body of the Dutch cabinet on cybersecurity). Her present research topics include privacy and identity management, legal and regulatory issues of data science, commodification and propertisation of data, identity theft/fraud and on-line identity management.
