About the IAPP

Beth Hill is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of FordDirect, a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Ford Dealers. Ms. Hill’s legal, privacy and technology experience spans more than twenty years and currently focuses on how data is transforming the automotive industry. Prior to joining FordDirect, Ms. Hill was Privacy Counsel and Senior Counsel for Chrysler Group LLC (now FCA). While in private practice, Beth represented start-up technology and ecommerce companies starting in the late 90’s and early 2000s.

Beth is a long-time IAPP member and has several certifications: CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP and the CIPT. Beth has been active in the privacy and security community, serving on the IAPP Education Advisory Board (2016-2017), as an Advisory Board member of the Privacy + Security Forum and as a speaker at industry events. Beth is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and New York University.
