Ellie Sharp, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM
Ellie Sharp is the Director of Security Awareness and Privacy at Vantiv, now Worldpay, where she manages the different elements of the programs in her portfolio. Her current focus is on establishing/managing processes related to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Previously, Ellie worked in various capacities at Stanford University, McKesson Corporation and “big-4” accounting firms. Areas of experience include privacy, risk management, management consulting and internal audit.
Ellie received her MBA from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. Additionally, she is a Chartered Accountant (UK), CIPP/US and CIPM.
