Edward G. Zacharias is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Boston office. He focuses his practice on complex transactions and regulatory compliance matters. Ed is a member of McDermott's Global Privacy and Data Protection Affinity Group and routinely advises clients on data privacy and security laws, particularly as those laws intersect with the health care industry. He frequently assists businesses navigate and remediate data breaches and counsels clients regarding the collection, use, retention, disclosure and disposal of protected health information and other confidential information.
