About the IAPP

Rohan Massey is European head of Ropes & Gray Privacy and Data Security Practice. Massey focuses on the tensions between the European and U.S. data protection and privacy regimes in the life sciences, finance and consumer retail sectors. He has advised a number of multinational clients on 360-¦ international compliance programmes, from auditing dataflows, assessing security and breach, drafting policies, and undertaking regulatory filings to constructing and implementing on-going training programmes.



Massey presents and writes regularly on data privacy issues for journals including World Data Protection Report, Computer & Telecoms Law Review and E-Commerce Law Reports. He also sits on the editorial board of E-commerce Law & Policy.
