About the IAPP

Edna is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales and has 16 years experience in global data privacy/protection matters.  Edna holds the CIPP/E and UK ISEB data protection certifications.  She is currently Director, Privacy in Compliance at Standard Chartered Bank and has been based in Singapore since 2014.   Prior to this role, she spent 8 years at Accenture, UK, advising on Global Data privacy matters.  She is also an experienced commercial lawyer negotiating IT, consulting and outsourcing contracts globally.  Edna’s past experiences includes managing data privacy within Centrica Telecommunications Ltd. a large telecommunications provider. Prior to Centrica, she also advised on company and commercial matters for Nexen, a Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company.
