About the IAPP

Nicola Linton is the Manager, Privacy and Freedom of Information and Senior Legal Counsel at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, a provincial Crown Corporation providing auto insurance, driver licensing and vehicle registration services to British Columbia residents. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and has been working in the privacy field from both an operational and legal perspective for the past 20 years.  Ms. Linton holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Toronto. She holds both CIPP/C and CIPM designations with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She currently serves on the IAPP Advisory Appeals Board.
