About the IAPP

Nico Schutte is DPO of ‘De Nederlandsche Bank’. DNB is the central bank, supervisor and resolution authority for the Netherlands. Prior to working at DNB, Nico worked in various roles at Philips including Director Business Excellence, Director Business Improvement and Sr. Privacy Officer. In the latter role, he established and managed the Privacy Office for Philips’ consumer business. Nico has degrees in Marketing Management and Organizational Psychology. In his free time Nico is a competitive rower, mountaineer and outdoor swimmer.
