About the IAPP

Nick leads a global data privacy practice group, established within Takeda’s Legal Department. Nick joined Takeda in January 2013 and is based at the company’s Zurich office.



Nick also worked in-house at AstraZeneca, as Global Privacy Counsel, and in private practice at Reed Smith LLP.



Previously, Nick worked at the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), where he was the Commissioner’s Legal Adviser. There he was instrumental in the development of key areas of policy and guidance, including the ICO’s approach to international transfers and enforcement.



Nick is a member of EFPIA’s Data Protection Working Group as well as a Board Member of IPPC (International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium).
