About the IAPP

John Bliss is Chief Privacy Officer at Senzing, an Entity Resolution software company that enables GDPR compliance. John’s a serial entrepreneur with expertise and experience across law, privacy, policy and strategy. Since 2000, he has held GC and CPO roles for several startups in Big Data, FinTech, mobile social and cybersecurity, and currently advises several software startups. He works, lives and plays in Boulder, Colorado. In a former life, he was Chief Counsel to a United States Senator and served as Chief Counsel to the Constitution Law Subcommittee of the US Senate Judiciary Committee. John likes to race mountain bikes and rock climb.
