About the IAPP

Douglas Niska serves as Vice President, Privacy Operations for UnitedHealth Group. He has extensive experience in incident management, infrastructure development, and metric-driven process improvement. Prior to this position, he served as Chief Privacy Officer for UnitedHealthcare's Commercial Markets business segment. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare in 2006, Mr. Niska held the position of Vice President, Privacy & Compliance for John Deere where he served for twenty-eight years, with responsibilities for compliance, financial, and regulatory oversight.



Mr. Niska is a member of numerous professional societies. He has served on various industry boards and holds degrees in Accountancy, Economics, and Business Administration.
