Kim Genobles is the Chief Privacy Officer at Ally, a leading digital financial services company and top 25 U.S. financial holding company (with assets upwards of 165 billion) that offers financial products for consumers, businesses, automotive dealers and corporate clients.
Kim manages the Privacy Office and is responsible for enterprise policies, training, monitoring and guidance to drive effective and efficient compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. She joined Ally in July of 2018. Prior to joining Ally, she was the Privacy Officer at Regions Bank. Kim begin her career at Bank of America in 1996, where she spent 20 years performing a myriad of roles, including customer service, communications, business continuity, incident response, and privacy – where she focused most of her time.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Major in Finance, from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and has maintained her Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) since 2006. Kimberly currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area.
