About the IAPP

Navroze M. Austin is the Managing Director of PrivPro.  His work focuses on privacy impact assessments (PIAs), privacy audits, and the implementation of policies and practices for good privacy governance. 

 

Navroze has over ten years’ experience in the field of privacy and access to information.  Prior to that, he worked for international consulting firm KPMG.  He has also worked at an executive level for the federal government.  

 

In addition to his CIPP/C accreditation, Navroze is a member of Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).  He holds a Master’s degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, and law degrees from McGill University in Montreal.
