Wendi Lozada-Smith, CIPP/E, CIPP/US
Lozada—Smith is a progressive global privacy and ethics leader with a unique combination of experience in Global Privacy, Information Security, and Technology for fortune 100 financial services and telecommunication companies. Having specialized expertise in the new EU privacy regulation (GDPR), employee, health and financial privacy, and the Internet of Things (IOT), Lozada-Smith has provided guidance to global business units operating in more than 100 countries. She has consulted on privacy program and policy development, data protection best practices, cross-border data transfers, risk assessment and privacy by design.
Lozada-Smith holds a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University and has held a variety of IT leadership positions including serving as AVP, Global Privacy for AT&T; VP, Corporate Information Security for Wachovia; and as Information Security Officer for a regional financial institution.
