Matt Loeb, CGEIT, CAE, joined ISACA as CEO and Director in September 2014. Within less than two years at the helm of ISACA, he led the creation and deployment of the technology industry’s first vendor-neutral, performance-based cybersecurity certification; launched a series of cybersecurity conferences and training programs worldwide; and spearheaded ISACA’s acquisition of the CMMI Institute to further serve the needs of the world’s technology community.

Prior to joining ISACA, Matt was Staff Executive for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Executive Director of the IEEE Foundation. His professional experience includes enterprise strategy, corporate development, global business operations, governance, publishing, sales, marketing, product development and acquisitions functions in a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Matt has served on numerous corporate for-profit and non-profit boards. He currently serves as non-executive Chairman of the Board of the Pittsburgh-based company CMMI Institute, and is a member of CESSE and NACD, and a senior member of IEEE. Additionally, he is an ASAE Fellow and serves on ASAE’s board of directors.
