Diane Brady (CIPP/US) has been an IT professional for more than 25 years, with responsibilities ranging from technical design and operations to policy and governance.  She has worked in numerous departments for the City of Seattle, RealNetworks, AOL – Singingfish and ConneXT. Currently Diane helps lead the City's database administration team that supports more than 25 City departments, including police, fire, and transportation departments, and municipal electric and water utilities.  Brady has more than ten years of experience in data and information security, leading policy development, best practices, employee education and technology solutions.  She led the creation of Information Security Policies which focus on data classification and protection, data governance, and co-chairs the Sensitive Data Governance Team.  She helped create the City of Seattle’s Privacy Program and developed the City's first privacy training, a mandatory training that all City employees will complete in 2016. She has a B.S. in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University.
