About the IAPP

For almost 20 years, Catrine’s area of specialisation has been employment law and labour law, and questions related to the handling of personal data about employees arouse her interest in personal data. As one of few in Denmark, Catrine holds the CIPP/E, Certified International Privacy Professional certificate, which she obtained in 2013. With experience from The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), Lederne (labour union for executives) and the international law firm Eversheds, Catrine has acquired a highly specialised knowledge about employment law and personal data as a trusted advisor. She is a highly valued adviser and sparring partner for clients and business collaborates in Denmark as well as abroad and has been ranked in international legal directories. Further, Catrine is an experienced lecturer giving courses for, among others, The Association of Danish Law Firms (Danske Advokater) and CfL, a leadership centre working with management, and she has made the Danish contribute to the international publication “Data Protection and Privacy” (Getting the deal through). Finally, Catrine is the co-chair of IAPP’s KnowledgeNet (Denmark).
