About the IAPP

Dawn Swan is the privacy officer at New Zealand’s tax agency the Inland Revenue department. Her key responsibilities are to oversee Inland Revenue’s performance in the management of personal information, provide technical input into the development of systems, projects and programmes and support continuous improvement in privacy practices. Previously Dawn spent eight years at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (NZ) - first as an investigator then managing the Wellington investigations team.
