About the IAPP

ViVien is a Staff Privacy Engineer in Google’s Privacy, Safety and Security team, working on a variety of projects from product privacy reviews, policy development to process implementation. Prior to Google, she has worked in diverse industries, including utilities, and law, where she helped teams and clients understand and navigate complex regulatory spaces.  

ViVien is called to the Bar of Ontario (Law Society of Ontario). She graduated with a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, and holds a Hons. Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience and a Master of Science in Biology from Laurentian University.
