About the IAPP

Robert Uy is Chief Legal Officer and co-founder of Coinroll inc, a Capital Factory Venture that focuses on onboarding institutional investors into the cryptocurrency market. His interest in cryptocurrency is in establishing a trusted legal and compliant platform that will help bring legitimacy to the cryptocurrency space. Robert has previously been outside counsel to several startups in the transportation, robotics and semiconductor fields. He has significant experience helping startups and companies grow their workforce through the onboarding of highly qualified foreign talent. Robert was on the board of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and Asian American Bar Association. He is former President of the Filipino Bar Association of the greater Bay Area.
