About the IAPP

Sunny is a Senior Partner and National Practice Group Leader of both the Firm's Technology Group and the Firm's Communications Law Group.

Sunny spends the bulk of his time building Blakes cybersecurity practice which is the largest in the country and operates in all our offices. Sunny is one of the few recognized senior breach coaches/counsel in the Canadian legal market.

Sunny has helped more than 100 clients navigate through complex cyber attacks. He guides companies, their management, and boards, through information security challenges, ransom negotiations, privacy risk, assessments and assists clients with information security preparedness and risk mitigation.
