Peigi Wilson is a Métis lawyer, writer, researcher, and policy analyst. She holds a honours BA in History and Political Science (Western), a LL.B. (Victoria), and a LL.M. (Ottawa). She has been called to the Bar of Ontario since 1992. Peigi has worked for the United Nations Environment Programme in the International Legal Instruments Unit, the Assembly of First Nations, Director, Environmental Stewardship, and at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Senior Manager of the First Nations – Municipal Community Infrastructure Partnership Program. Peigi currently serves as Research Manager, OCAP® and Information Governance, at the First Nations Information Governance Centre. She is the lead for FNIGC on the federal review of the Privacy and Access to Information Acts.
