About the IAPP

Leigh Tynan is the Director for TELUS Online Security. Focused on raising awareness for the importance of protecting your digital world, Leigh and team have recently launched Canada’s most comprehensive online security solution to ensure all Canadians are able to easily protect their devices, online privacy and most importantly, their identity. 

Leigh has been with TELUS for 15 years and has extensive experience in product, marketing, communications, municipal relations and sales channel support across both Business and Consumer segments. Prior to joining TELUS, Leigh spent 10 years in the consumer packaged goods industry with Molson Coors.  

Leigh was born and raised in Vancouver and has two daughters, Kirstin and Amy with her husband Alan.  Leigh is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and is very active in the community having spent 10 years coaching soccer, as the Co-Chair for Connections, the TELUS’ Women’s Network, and as part of the Connections Global leadership team.
