About the IAPP

Iain runs the trade body representing suppliers of age verification and age estimation technologies, which enable websites to remain compliant with GDPR, the Audio-Visual Media Services Directives, and the forthcoming Digital Services Act and Online Safety Bill in the UK, and similar legislation emerging in North America. He is also a project manager for euCONSENT, a European Commission funded pilot which has delivered interoperable age checks, removing the friction that can otherwise lead to customer attrition. He has previously worked for Deloitte, in the UK Parliament and for a gambling charity.
