About the IAPP

Brian is a Senior Advisor in Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory services group and member of Deloitte’s Global Digital Forensics Steering Committee. He has over 22 years of experience providing investigation and digital forensic services to clients covering issues from fraud and misconduct, earning management, bribery and corruption, and cyber investigations. Brian has extensive overseas experience and exceptional insight on the Asia Pacific region having recently returned to the US after 10 years living and working in the region. Prior to returning to the US in 2021, Brian was based in Hong Kong serving as the Partner in Charge of Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations for Deloitte China. Brian has led numerous Cyber investigations particularly focused on high impact incidents such as ransomware attacks, business email compromise, targeted advanced phishing attacks, malicious insider threats, intellectual property theft, network intrusions, and data exfiltration. He works closely with Privacy counsel on matters involving the identification of and reporting obligations associated with exfiltration of Personal Information.”
