Alex is a Partner in Bird & Bird’s commercial and data privacy teams in London and heads up the international Adtech Practice. Alex is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 2022 for Advertising plus included as a “name to note” for adtech and a Key Lawyer for TMT. Alex advises across the advertising sector but with a key focus on the use of technology within advertising (adtech), an area for which Alex is recognised as an industry expert by both clients and other organisations within the sector. Alex specialises in all matters relating to advertising, including: (i) advising on the procurement, appointment and use of adtech platforms and technologies, including DSPs, DMPs, SSPs etc.; (ii) media buying arrangements, disputes, brand safety issues and related arrangement; and (iii) sophisticated, complex data protection matters, both generally and more specifically in relation to advertising, including strategic advice relating to the deployment of new advertising technologies.
