About the IAPP

Ravinder joined Kantar as Chief Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer in 2021 and heads up Kantar’s global privacy function. Ravinder qualified as a barrister in London in 1996. He has 25 years of industry experience across a range of notable corporates including Prudential, Microsoft, Sanyo, Capita, Airbus, Bristol Myers Squib, Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu, AIG, Ferrero, Thomson Reuters and Refinitiv. Ravinder spent 12 years at Accenture in various roles including leading a range of operational privacy, data, commercial and regulatory technology programmes in Accenture’s outsourcing growth platform for client deals valued between $20M and $100M. His experience includes privacy engineering in a range of technologies including machine learning, AI, blockchain and PrivTech. Ravinder sits on the Legal Affairs Committee at ESOMAR and is a member of the IAPP and the ODI.
