About the IAPP

Michel Garcia is an IT Research Analyst at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. As a member of the technology analysis team, Michel has been leading the Technology Analysis Laboratory where he has been involved in conducting various projects, focusing on the technical analysis of IoT environments. 

At the OPC, Michel has also contributed to the development of a suite of network analysis tools and testing methodologies, for analyzing how information flows on IoT data networks. Additionally, he provides technical support and conducts digital forensic analysis on investigations led by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
