About the IAPP

Mike Serra is Senior Corporate Counsel at Cisco Systems, Inc., focusing on regulatory affairs, cyber, and national security. He works closely with product engineering, security, compliance, and sales teams to develop a risk-based approach towards secure, compliant, high-velocity customer adoption. Mike is passionate about engaging with evolving laws. He recently published articles with the Yale Journal of Law and Technology and Michigan Bar Journal, and presented at the RSA cybersecurity conference in San Francisco. Mike is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Technologies (CIPT).
