Naghmeh Yonathan is the Canadian Lead for Data Privacy within the Cloud, Infrastructure, and Engineering (CIE) practice at Accenture Canada. Her experience leading complex, multi-phase technology engagements has equipped her with deep functional and technical expertise pertaining to data privacy tools and best practices.
Naghmeh has worked with national and global clients to implement strategies and roadmaps for data privacy and protection across major industries including healthcare, telecommunications, finance, insurance, retail, and public sector. She has advised organizations on safeguarding their data assets and environment by leveraging digital products and cloud solutions in conjunction with data governance policies, programs, and procedures.
Naghmeh is a passionate advocate of ethics and compliance and has driven thought leadership on several topics including recommendations for PIPEDA reform, frameworks for regulating Artificial Intelligence, and models for modernized consent management.
Naghmeh holds a Specialization in Regulatory Compliance, Privacy Law and Data Protection from the University of Pennsylvania; a Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University; a postgraduate degree in Human Ecology from Western University; and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University.
