About the IAPP

Kristina Bockarov is Senior Corporate Counsel at Best Buy Canada Ltd. In addition to corporate matters, her focus is on health and privacy initiatives at Best Buy. Kristina spearheaded a number of data privacy and governance initiatives, including the data governance community of practice, at Best Buy. Her previous experience includes working as legal counsel and privacy officer for a major Canadian health care company; and in private practice as a corporate lawyer for a national, full-service law firm.

Kristina received her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She is admitted to practice law in British Columbia and California. Kristina resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
