About the IAPP

Hatty is the Associate Director in Risk Advisory Cyber team focusing on Data & Privacy in Deloitte Hong Kong office. She has started off with IT controls related during early career and been working on data privacy and protection related aspects for the past 6 years, including various assessment types against compliance requirements (covering HK PDPO, Macau PDPA, around APAC and EU GDPR), as well as assisting and supporting clients across industries in developing and setting data privacy governance structure and policies & procedures. At the same time, she is co-leading the data & privacy stream within Cyber Risk Advisory, and hosted training sessions for the team and cross departments. Via different projects, trainings, and seminars, hoping to raise the awareness of employees both internally, and externally on clients' companies’ maturity on personal data handling.

As seeing nowadays people are more aware on data privacy and protection, on their individual rights, hope could help companies level up their maturity, such as implementing data privacy management platform / solutions, automating some handling processes and enhance staff awareness.
