Allen Loayza is a second-year student at Northeastern University School of Law. Allen was accepted into Northeastern's IP CO-LAB Clinic in the spring of 2019 and is also a member of the Intellectual Property Society, the Latino American Law Students Association, and competed in the 2018 NLLSA Moot Court Competition, which dealt with a Defend Trade Secrets Act issue and the validity of a non-competition agreement.



Allen's interest in privacy evolved from a more general interest in intellectual property law. His first exposure to privacy law was through a legal internship at the IAPP and he is working towards a concentration in Privacy Law from Northeastern. Prior to law school, Allen was a web developer and entrepreneur who successfully owned and operated an online music store.



Allen is a native Bostonian and proud to be part of such a beautiful and dynamic city. He is also interested in software development and stays abreast of the latest tech startups and the technology they are developing. Outside of the law, Allen enjoys entering powerlifting competitions and working part-time at an Irish pub.
