Politico reports Ireland's Data Protection Commission is anticipated to publish its ruling Monday on the legality of Meta's EU-U.S. data flows, including a record privacy fine. According to two sources with knowledge of the decision, the fine is likely to be more than the 746 million euro fine against Amazon in 2021. The ruling is also anticipated to order Facebook to stop using standard contractual clauses to transfer data from the EU to the U.S.
